Commitment
I can start as soon as possible. If possible, I would prefer to conduct the tuition sessions at my house as i have a room that is very quiet and conducive for learning.

I have the passion and patience needed as a good tutor in teaching and improving your results. I like to engage with my tutees and encourage them to ask questions about the subjects they need tuition in to clarify their doubts. I care for the improvement of your results and hope that my students are motivated to learn.

I have great confidence in teaching Chemistry and Mathematics.

Experience
What I enjoyed in tuition is the one to one learning experience with the kids as it is important that the child has the full attention from the teacher. Thus they will learn much better and faster.

I always try my best to make the lessons interesting with IT resources that are available.

My patience with kids are built with time over 9 years in the education service. Sometimes why i can stay so long in teaching considering the workload teachers are having now. )

When I see my students or tutees have done well in their examinations, it gives me great sense of satisfaction that money cant buy.

What I enjoyed most is science especially chemistry. My diploma why I am very thankful has given me strong foundation in science. My greatest score i get for chemistry paper is 99.5/100 in my years in polytechnic, which is rather a great achievement for myself.

Specializing in teaching Mathematics and Science, I have the relevant skills and knowledge to guide my students towards achieving good results. My syllabus content knowledge is up-to-date and I'm able to correct misconceptions in an easy to understand manner. Based on my students' ability, I'm able to pitch my lesson to make the concepts easy for the student to absorb and understand. I believe in understanding my student's learning ability and customising my lesson to develop them further. Normally, I will provide additional worksheets to stretch my students' potential further. Under my coaching and guidance, my students' grades generally improved by at least three grades.

Experience
Hi! I've graduated from NUS with a 2nd upper honours in Physics and a minor in Mathematics. Since young i knew i have a passion for teaching and i was awarded the teaching scholarship by MOE to further my studies in NUS. To prepare myself for my career, i have taught a spectrum of students in the past 8 years ranging from Primary level all the way till JC level. Happy to say, all of my tuition kids see an increase in their Physics or Mathematics grade.

Currently, i am a trainee teacher in NIE, and due to my interest in Physics and Mathematics, i am a Physics/Science/Mathematics teacher. I always believe in that a tuition teacher's role is to complement the teacher in school, building up and reinforcing what the child has learnt in school, covering up the gaps in knowledge learning in school due to big class size and time constraint. In Physics, the concepts and the interconnectivity of the various topics are important in building up the content knowledge which a child needs to prepare for his/her exam. This will be one of my approaches to coach a child in preparation for his exams. Another important area of approach will be to drive in on practice. Practise makes perfect, though cliche, still has its value, especially in subjects like Physics and Mathematics. Students will be trained in their thinking skills and will be more confident of approaching unfamiliar questions after practising and experiencing the myriad of different questions tackled before by the child.
Commitment
I'm able to commit ASAP.

Timing for tuition is preferred to be during weekdays evening and night time. Depending on my class schedule, i might be free during weekdays late afternoon.

During the course of tuition, once decided, my practice is to coach the child until he finishes his exam that year.

Are you looking for a Mandarin tutor for your child or yourself? Do you want to do the HSK exam?

I am the one you are looking for......I am a native speaker from Taiwan.

I attended a teaching Chinese training course in Taipei before coming Singapore in 2005. This course provided me the knowledge of teaching in Chinese. In order to upgrade myself, I am attending a teaching Chinese diploma course which conducted by Confucius Institute, NTU this year. I have a comprehensive understanding of teaching Chinese from this course.

Furthermore, I have finished the teaching HSk exam course which conducted by Crestar(HSK centre), Singapore.

Currently, I have experience in teaching adults and children Mandarin for both business and learning Chinese as a second language purpose in Singapore. I always like to be with people, and therefore I enjoy a lot with this career.

Commitment
I am free on Monday and Tuesday evening in November. Please find my schedule for more details, thanks.

I will be taking a short trip in the end of December.
