Experience/Remarks

I have been actively providing tuition since 2004 to mainly Primary students. However, I have done Secondary level tutoring as well. Primary Level subjects include English, Mathematics, Science and Chinese. Secondary Level subjects include Chinese, Elementary Mathematics and Additional Mathematics.

For instance, for one of the Secondary 4 student I have taught, her Elementary Mathematics had improved dramatically to A2 for O levels, from her initial mid-year grade of C6. For my primary 1 student, she has improved greatly for her 3 main subjects, from an average of 70 marks per subject, to an average of 90 at the end of the year. Although I have stopped coaching her as she has moved, the student constantly keeps in touch with me, and too, requested me to help her out with her academics. For higher levels such as Primary 4, I will conduct some simple experiments (which can be conducted indoor, safely) to increase the interest of the students in Science. My student, whose Mathematics grade was in the range of 60s, has improved to 80. I have also taught in tuition centre for Primary level Mathematics (group tuition)and pre-primary level tutoring. Students who are taught individually have improved greatly in their academics. I am actively doing Relief Teaching in West area Primary schools. Besides teaching, I have also been a child care teacher and camp facilitator. Therefore, I have quite a lot of interaction with kids these days as well.

Commitment Level

Available for all assignments which are once per week, preferably on Weekends. However, all can be negotiated.
