Experience/Remarks

I have experience teaching at both the secondary and primary school levels, taken up when I was an Undergraduate at NUS. I enjoy helping students improve their grades and cultivate self-discipline. I am strict but cheerful at the same time, and I use different approaches for each student because every student is unique.

Having settled down in my work, I would like to pick up tuition teaching again and feel the satisfaction of coaching students along in the academic fields towards success!

Knowing that studying is also about learning techniques and that examinations are as much about being exam-smart as about the knowledge and skills, I see it as a crucial part for my coaching to impart tips for both these areas. The most important part, though, is the attitude. That is where 50% of the difference lies and where I seek to impact a change in as well.

Having been through the intensive and rigorous Gifted Education Programme at both the primary and secondary school levels, I wish to pass on mindsets that let students get better at the academic 'game'.

Every tuition student needs a different kind of coaching. While I am uniform in my firm determination to help build self-discipline in each child, I tailor my approach depending on the student.

Commitment Level

I can start asap and am available especially in the mid-afternoon onwards on weekdays.
